WYAA is affiliated with the Diamond Youth Baseball (DYB) program, formerly known as Dixie Youth Baseball. DYB is a National Member Organization of USA Baseball. DYB is a community based recreational youth baseball program for youth ages 12 and under that stresses participation, teamwork and sportsmanship.

The mission of DYB is to promote the development of strong character, a right attitude, a sense of responsibility and citizenship in youngsters using the game of baseball as a vehicle. DYB offers Division I play for larger leagues and Division II play for smaller leagues. Both divisions compete in their own tournaments through district and state level play and culminate with their own World Series each season. 

WYAA follows the rules and regulations as guided and set by DYB.
